1998 Ultimate Stats:	

Ultimate year 1998 was once again a highly successful and fun year.				
Biller continued his amazing all-time record of consecutive games by				
just one more game, since he missed the second week.  But his amazing				
feat totaled 54 straight games, from August 15, 1995 to April 7, 1998.				
To put that in perspective,  the second best all-time streak is Dusty's				
19 straight in 1996.  I guess that make Bill the Cal Ripken of our league!				
				
It's hard to set lots of records after 14 or so years of playing.				
But it helps to not take records -- 1989 through 1994 is anybody's guess.				
Nonetheless, we did set some "biggies" besides Biller's binge:				
				
- We had the most players ever for a game: 24 played on April 14.				
- We shattered the record for the earliest season start by several weeks, 				
   starting play on April 7.				
- We had 52 different players this year, smashing the 1996 record of 46.				
- We tied the 1995 record of most games in a season: 26.				
				
We also had 12 new players this year, not quite reaching 1995's record of				
14.  But if we include the 5 players who hadn't played in more than a year,				
then that's some sort of record, too.				
				
Our average attendance this year was 12.7 players per game, down a bit				
from last year's record of 14.5.				
				
Craig had a streak of 17 straight games, the 5th-best ever.				
Karl also had a respectable streak, playing in the first 10 games.
